The 1 Washington D.C. Standard Goldback Aurum Note is an exclusive single issue commemorative release honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States celebrating 250 years of Americas independence, making it one of the most unique and historically significant Goldbacks ever produced. Each note contains 1/1000 troy ounce of real 24K spendable gold, embedded using patented Aurum technology and presented in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. 

This release introduces an all-new template design, upgraded security features, and enhanced UV reactive ink, setting it apart from all previous Goldback issues. While Washington D.C. Goldbacks are usable within the Goldback merchant network, their limited mintage positions them primarily as a collectible. All notes are direct from the Goldback Vault.

At the forefront stands the virtue Justitia, or Justice. She carries raised scales, a lowered sword, and a blindfold to demonstrate truth, restraint, and impartial judgement. The elk and cornucopia from Idaho state seal appear on her belt. A syringa, the state flower, is woven into her hair, and a monarch butterfly, the state insect, flies beside her. Hells Canyon stretches behind her, reminding us that fairness is forged in demanding environments. Written along the bottom is the enduring principle 'Judge Righteously'.
