This beautiful pirate treasure '8 Reales Silver Cob' was hand crafted by Daniel Carr (Moonlight Mint) in 2015 using 28 grams of .999 fine silver. It includes trace amounts of silver recovered from the lost fleet of 1715. This beautiful piece comes in a green and yellow natural colorized finish. This piece features the iconic pillars and waves design of the 1700's. Only 18 of these pieces were ever made.
This silver round bears the inscription 'Plvs Vltra' a Latin phrase meaning 'further beyond'. It is Spain's national motto and was historically adopted by Holy Roman Emperor Charles V.
